PROBLEMS WITH CURRENT “CONVENTIONAL” KEYBOARDS

Certainly, the most serious problems with the use of keyboards stem from the excessive motions of the wrist and hand digits to accomplish the needed key activations. Let us take some hypothetical examples of keyboard users and demonstrate the enormity of what they ask their hands and wrists to do every day (yes, we advocate for taking frequent breaks throughout this book, but let us postulate for ease of calculation that no breaks are taken by the hypothetical people in this paragraph).
